MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

WELCOME BACK!!

      On behalf of the Toronto French Montessori School, I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you back to school. We extend a very special welcome to the new families to our community. We hope that your first year with us will be an enjoyable and memorable one.

 

We have an exciting and busy planned. As we begin our new school year, we have much to celebrate. We are proud of all our parents who support our Montessori method and our mission to incorporate moral and discipline values throughout our curriculum. We are proud of our dedicated teachers and assistant teachers who help preparing the school to welcome back our students. We are proud of our students including our students who have graduated last year into our Grade one class.

 

Newsletters

Our Newsletters will be posted on our website at www.torontofrenchmontessori.com. Hard copies will also be available. For future reference, those who require a hard copy of our newsletter, there will be one posted on the bulletin board in our hallway.  We advise you to read the board regularly to find out what’s new.

I would like extend a warm welcome to all our new staff as well as our returning teachers. They are all eager to work with your children.

 

Readers’ Choice Award

We are pleased to inform you that this year we were once more honoured in receiving Awards in the three categories; Best Montessori School Award, Best Private School Award and Best Summer Camp Award.

I will be attending the Award’s Ceremony with Ms. Julie Vaillancourt, the former Chair of the Parent Committee, on Wednesday September 14th, 2005 at the Weston Prince Hotel.

            We thank all the parents for voting the TFMS in the annual North York Mirror survey. Your constant support and dedication are what we owe our success to. Thank you.

 

Curriculum Night for all CASA

            Please note that this year’s Curriculum Night for all three CASA classes will be held on Friday, September 16th, 2005 at 7:30pm.

It is encouraged that all parents attend.

        

         I encourage and welcome all parents to actively participate in the Toronto French Montessori School community through our parents committee.

       

  Every first Friday of each month, the TFMS holds a Parents’ Coffee Morning. The first Parents’ Coffee Morning will be held at the school on Friday Oct. 7th, 2005 from 9:00-10:00am. All are welcome to join this social gathering.

 

          I look forward to a wonderful year and as always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to call me at the school.
